On the second day of the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025, Bangladesh Special Economic Zone (BSEZ) in Araihazar, Narayanganj, hosted a delegation of 36 foreign investors from countries including China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, India, and expatriate Bangladeshi entrepreneurs.

During the visit, the Honorable Managing Director of BSEZ, Mr. Taro Kawachi, along with Mr. M. H. M. Their insights highlighted BSEZ’s remarkable progress and its growing impact on the global stage.

Investors inquired about the overall investment environment, sources of raw materials, labor costs and availability, as well as the capacity of the existing infrastructure to support the demands of sophisticated heavy industries.

A significant development was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Swedish company Nilorn’s Bangladesh (Unit-2) Limited and BSEZ, marking an important step toward further negotiations and demonstrating their keen interest in investing in the zone.
